This week has shown the first signs of winter with enough snow falling last Wednesday to create even more traffic jams as usual on the Grand Duchy’s streets. As I am really not fond anymore of driving around on this country’s overcrowded roads let alone in dangerous conditions, I did not mind to see the rain already returning the next day.

I am following the news closely through Twitter, podcasts and I subsequently read linked and recommended posts online. My main interests cover politics, especially the German and US situation, technology, notably concerning automotive and IT, and various other topics making human life interesting, like art and entertainment, knowledge and science. However, as the COVID-19 epidemic, which has been provoked by SARS-CoV-2 first appearing in China at the end of last year, has spread to meanwhile every other continent many news are dominated by the fact that humanity is now facing a pandemic.
